There was never a time when
Understanding was mutual
When there was silence in my head
No ripples
No reflection of someone else
No more Galatea

Such effort that it took
To achieve nothing but a
Sisyphean tale
Malpomene’s way of life

It is true life is but a tragedy
With a sea of masks
Few or none
Portray the right path
Socratic irony works best here
Everyone has his or her cup of hemlock
